Redeeming your gift of
My Local Token!
You're well on your way to supporting some great small businesses. My Local Token (MLT) can be gifted in a few different ways, but no matter what your MLT looks like, redeeming it is easy.
MLT can be received via an email, wooden tokens, or be "minted" on other physical objects like special edition gift cards.
There are two ways to redeem your MLT gift:
Download the app

Download the free My Local Token app (download buttons below), create an account, and load your gift into the app's digital wallet. That way you can add more MLT, easily check your balance, and/or use it without having to carry the physical object with you.

Tap the "Give" button, and then tap "Redeem MLT Gift". This will load the camera. Scan the QR code on your gift and the app will load the balance.
Use it like cash

Businesses will be able to scan the QR code on the gift and apply it to your purchase. If your purchase exceeds the value of your purchase you, of course, will need to provide another form of payment to cover that remainder.

Like cash, if you lose it, it's lost!
